Where is the jail support form?

Who will be doing jail support?
Affinity Groups should each have a jail support liaison who can meet arrested folks in their AG when they are released. That person will coordinate with our Legal Trainer.
What should I pack?
WATER (more than you think you’ll need, it will be hot, bonus points if it’s water + electrolytes), medications you will need (incl if you are arrested) in pharmacy containers with your name, sunscreen
What should I leave at home?
Weapons/anything that could be construed as a weapon
Drugs/medicines that are not legal/labeled as prescriptions
Weed! It is illegal on all US Federal Gov’t property, including the area around SCOTUS.
What should I wear?
Layers, comfortable clothes, hat (we may be sitting/standing for a long time and it will get HOT)
What if I need accommodations?
Please email accessibility@shutdowndc.org as soon as possible.
Should I talk to reporters?
The main point of contact for reporters should be your AG’s media spokesperson. We strongly recommend not speaking to right-wing outlets or “independent journalists” (unless vetted).
Should I talk to cops?
In general, NO. Only your AG’s police liaison should talk to police.
What should I expect if I’m arrested?/What if I don’t want to be arrested?

When and where do I meet on Monday morning?
For folks in affinity groups, meet at Stanton Park (closest to 4th St. NE & C St. NE) at 7am at the latest (shoot for 6:45).
If you’re not already in an affinity group, that’s ok! You can just show up. Meet at Stanton Park at 6:45am for a mini-action prep, or at 7am at the latest.
How should I get to Stanton Park on Monday morning?
Metro to Union Station and walk south on 2nd St. then East on Massachusetts. It is about a 10 minute walk.
Union Station is on the Red Line. Trains are running less often than usual right now, but should still come roughly every 15 or 20 minutes
