Join the People’s Filibuster Remotely!

We will be spending 25 hours in front of Mitch McConnell’s house, passing the record for the longest filibuster in United States Senate history. We’ll talk about the issues we care about that the filibuster is blocking, and about why the filibuster needs to go. If you are unable to attend this event in-person we would still love to have your voice represented! Record a 2-5 minute video that we will play in front of Mitch McConnell’s house.

Your piece should talk about an issue that you are passionate about that the filibuster is blocking progress on (ex. Defunding the police, pathway to citizenship, ending endless wars, Medicare for All, Green New Deal, etc.), or address why the filibuster needs to be abolished.
