ABRA: Revoke Harry's liquor license immediately
Over the weekend of December 11 – 13, Harry's Restaurant and Bar (436 11th St. NW) allowed patrons– supporters of Donald Trump who were in DC to protest the legitimate election results – to congregate in large numbers without masks in violation of the district's COVID ordinance, drawing investigation by the DC Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration. These patrons went out after getting drunk at Harry's to attack DC residents, resulting in four stabbings and numerous arrests. They also burned multiple signs proclaiming that Black Lives Matter, including a banner in front of the historically Black Asbury United Methodist Church.
Harry's was issued two warnings for similar behavior in October and received $2000 in fines from the ABRA in November. This is at least their third violation. The time for warnings is over. ABRA must follow regulations and revoke Harry's liquor license.
